Although I love landscapes, I really love intimate landscapes and nature’s details even more. It’s easy to see the big view, the one that hits you over the head proverbially when you get to the selected point for the view. Yet what about all the wonderful ‘landscapes’ you passed along the way – the ones that celebrate the patterns, the textures, shapes and forms that exist within the grand scene? In my book, many of them get missed in the pursuit of the classic wide-angle strong-foreground landscape. So here’s to the the details!
