Foggy Forest, Slovenia

Fog is such a wonderful element for nature photography because it can isolate your subject and simplify backgrounds that would otherwise be so cluttered! Refuge in the Dolomites of Italy

Sunrise lights up the rugged mountain of Monte Cristallo.

Late June, I attended a tour to the Dolomites so that I could get to great spots for sunrise and sunset without having to do all the research, as I was crunched for time working on my new book. Taking a Low Point of View

So here I was, driving through the Willamette valley in September, on my eventual way home, looking for an apple stand, when I saw this huge dust cloud from a distance. Morning Fog in Slovenia
