Short blog today. Just wanted to announce to exciting things:

My friend Charlie Borland just launched PRONATUREPHOTOGRAPHER, a magazine-style blog with news on the photography business, ideas about marketing and selling your photographs, photo techniques, interviews and so much more. Check it out!

And this just in from the department of shameless self-promotion: my book Creative Nature & Outdoor Photography, Revised Edition, is now officially on sale at bookstores across the nation and online. If you don’t need an autographed copy, you can click through the link on my Books,Discounts, Offers page on this blog.

Don’t forget about my exciting workshop in Iceland. Check out Focus on Nature for more information.

I am another one with your earlier edition. Hope the new one does as well as it should. I did check out the ProNaturePhotographers blog – looks good. Thanks.

I have the earlier edition of your book and love it. But really I just wanted to say that I love the photo with this post. What a quaint old school house scene – perfectly captured.

Well, thank you for having the original book, Athena. And I’m glad you like the post picture – it’s the Fruita schoolhouse in Capitol Reef National Park, Utah. A fun little place to photograph.
